ESP Sonar shock braid is a 45lb breaking strain braided Dyneema which has non stretch properties which not only transmit all casting power directly to the lead for maximum distance but also provides maximum sensitivity for accurate feature finding.
Contours of the bottom are precisely transmitted through the braid which can be lost when mono is used.
When plumbing the depth the length of the leader should always be greater than the maximum depth being plumbed.
If the leader is too short the connecting knot will prevent the marker float from rising to the surface.
